Free-Range Chickens

Looking for eggs from the happiest chickens?

Our chickens are let out with the sunrise and are cooped up at sunset, ensuring they have plenty of time to roam and play. You won't find a happier flock anywhere!

Our journey into raising chickens began quite serendipitously. While on vacation, we stayed at a remote camping site that had a chicken coop. One of the highlights of our mornings was collecting fresh eggs for breakfast. Katie had never seen or even heard of colored eggs before! Her fascination with the vibrant blues of the eggs spun off into us getting  four easter eggers for her birthday. If you have ever heard of chicken math... well you know we have quite a few more than four now!

Unlike some "free-Ranging" methods, we actually embrace free-range practices, allowing our chickens to roam freely rather than confining them to a pen. This not only ensures happier, healthier chickens but also results in superior quality eggs.

Our yard is now a lively haven for a variety of chicken breeds. We source all our feed from local suppliers in the BCS area, supporting our community and ensuring the best nutrition for our flock. Some of our chickens are incredibly productive, laying up to one egg a day year-round.

Our flock includes Salmon Favorolles, Cuckoo Marans, Easter Eggers, Polish, Cochin, Brahma, French Marans, Red Star, Pearl White Leghorns and a handful of other breeds. Each type contributes to the beautiful array of eggs we collect daily. This delightful variety not only makes for an aesthetically pleasing carton but also reflects the rich diversity of our flock. Our passion for raising chickens has truly transformed our yard into a colorful, egg-filled paradise.
